Medical Review/Case Management - Based on our expertise in the Medicare Supplement business and Medicare guidelines, OHA provides assistance with cost containment via specialized claim review and case management activities. To mitigate the impact of members exhausting Original Medicare Part A benefits, Medical Review identifies potential high-liability cases, facilitates transfers to appropriate level of care, detects non-Medicare eligible expenses, and calculates rates for post lifetime reserve days. Other cost containment services include utilization management, pre & post payment audits, and dedicated resources for specialized claims.
Reporting and Data Extracts - OHA has developed a robust, comprehensive set of reports and a suite of data extracts that clients can utilize to monitor the performance of their products.
